In case you missed it, on August 6th, 2014 WordPress 3.9.2 released a new security update.
It’s a very important security update for all your sites running on WordPress, and one that should definitely be installed as soon as you can.
We’ve already updated 15 of our sites and it’s all running great with no issues whatsoever.
That said…
Before we updated, we made sure we had BACKUPS of every site (because you never know).
According to the WordPresss official page, the latest security update combines the efforts of two security teams providing what is arguably WordPress’ strongest security update, to date and additional security changes.

By the way, if you have automatic security updates turned on, your site probably sent you an email already that let you know it was updated. If not, then backup your site and update it to make sure you have the latest version.
