- Photoshop Express Editor: If you’re familiar with the functions of Photoshop, this options offers a super lightweight version of it. The Adobe pack will be too much for what you need, but this one features the basic editing features, including color adjustments and retouching features.
- Pixlr is a web based app offers workable, while basic, photo editing features that can do everything from adjust image tones to resize images.
- GetPaint is simple and easy to use, with intuitive user interface that supports typical Photoshop features such as layers and allows for the application of special effects. It’s free for download, but is only available for Windows.
- PicMonkey offers most of its photo editing features for free–including its huge selection of photo filters and fonts.
- BeFunky because it’s free, you’ll have to brace yourself for the volume of ads that surround its page.
